本日出来上がった様子を確認しに再び来店され、その音の良さにとても満足されています。Tola様は日本のアーティストも大好きで、山下達郎さんのレコードもほとんど全てをコレクションされているほどです。

ケンリックサウンド音響プロデュース 白金台 新規レストラン「LIKE」オープン準備中です
フレンチを得意とするオーナーシェフ・原太一さんにとって、一号店となる渋谷宇田川町の裏通りにある隠れ家のようなビストロ「ROJIURA」、そして代々木上原の「PATH」に次ぎ、三店舗目となる今回の多国籍料理レストラン「LIKE」がこの度、白金台のビオトープ内にオープン致します。スペースも十分で雰囲気も抜群に素晴らしいです。
カスタムスピーカー、KENRICK SOUND 4344を始めとした、ケンリックサウンド音響プロデュースによる、アナログ再生のみのシステム構築を行いました。
3月15日オープン予定とのことですが、進捗については改めてこのブログでお知らせしたいと思います。

JBL 4312Mk2用スペシャルウーファーユニット、リコーン作業の紹介 The reconing of specially created woofers for the JBL 4312Mk2

今回の投稿では現在私が担当しているJBL 4312Mk2用ウーファーのスペシャルリコーン作業を紹介します。
Today I will be writing about a project I'm working on right now, which is the reconing of JBL 4312Mk2 woofers using a specially created unit.
通常4312Mk2にはJBL 2213Hが搭載されていますが、今回のスペシャル仕様ではアルニコマグネットを持つJBL D131のフレームを使用。特性調整用である白いアクアプラス（Aquaplas）をコーンに塗布した特別作製のホワイトコーンと、しなやかでロール高が十分な特製クロスエッジを使って組み上げます。超強力な磁気回路を有するD131は、あの名機D130の弟分でありながらボイスコイル径はなんとD130と同じで4インチ！4312Mk2の標準ウーファーボイスコイル径が3インチであるのに対し て、より大型でマグネット部もD130と同じものが搭載されています。
The 4312Mk2 comes with JBL 2213H units, but in this special edition, we will be using the alnico magnet JBL D131, with specially made white cones(white aquaplas) and cloth surrounds. The D131 is like a little brother of the famous D130 and uses the same size 4 inch voice coil as the D130(the normal 4312Mk2 woofer comes with a 3 inch voice coil).

Below are the basic steps of the cone assembling.
コーンにクロスエッジを接着。均等に貼ることによって、コーン紙の動きがより滑らかになります。
ボイスコイルをコーンに接着。スピーカーに組み込んだ際、ボイスコイルが理想の高さに来る位置を確認して取り付けなければなりません。
Attach the voice coil to the cone so that the voice coil will come to it's ideal position when the speakers are complete.
リード線とダンパーを取り付けて、コーンアセンブリーは完成です。
Install speaker lead wires, attach speaker spiders, and the assembling is complete.
エッジの貼り方、ボイスコイルやダンパーの高さ決め、すべての工程が完成後に得られる音に多大な影響を与えます。一つ一つの作業を確実かつ丁寧に進めることが、良質な音を得るためには欠かせません。
Every step of the cone assembling; attachment of the surrounds, positions of the voice coil and the spiders effect the sound of the speakers greatly. Each step must be executed precisely in order to get the best sound from the speakers.
スピーカーコーンのアセンブリー作業がスピーカーユニットの音質、音の出方を決定づけると言っても過言ではないでしょう。
It is not an understatement when I say that the assembling of the speaker cone is very decisive to the sound you will get, when everything is complete.

Attach the cloth surrounds to the white cone. By attaching it evenly all around, the cone will have a smooth movement.
