こちらはエクスクルーシブ 2401 ツイン・スタイルスピーカー用ネットワークのインストールをしている様子です。今回、フィルター用ファインメットカットコアコイルはスピーカーキャビネットの内部に取り付けます。コンデンサーや抵抗、アッテネーターは取り付け終えて、コイルは仮配線しました。ネットワークフィルター特性の測定も行いましたので、もう一度スピーカーユニットを取り付けて、代表にコイルの位置を決めてもらって完成させたいと思います。
This is the installation process of the crossovers for Exclusive 2401 twin style speakers. I have finished installing the capacitors and attenuators. The filter coils have been temporary wired because they need to have their attachment position tested by our president. We will now reinstall the speaker drivers and have him test various positions


これは今週スピーカーの梱包に使用する緩衝材です。スピーカーの形状に合わせて、切り出しています。
We have measured and cut necessary packing material to be used this week.

This is the JBL 4312MK2 crossover I am working on. They have been brought to us to be upgraded by our customer.

エクスクルーシブ 2401 ツイン・スタイルスピーカーのネットワーク回路が決まりましたので、キャビネットへ取り付けるために必要なパーツを加工し、各パーツを取り付けて、配線を開始します。
The crossover schematics for the Exclusive model 2401 twin style speakers have been decided, so now I will start making the necessary parts to build the crossovers, and start assembling/wiring them.


一通り配線が完了しました。フィルター特性の測定を終えたので、キャビネットへの取り付け作業を開始します。
I have finished with all the wiring possible before they are put into the cabinet and have tested it's filter characteristics. I will start to install them into the speaker box.


こちらの写真はJBL 4425用のネットワークです。これは純正の状態です。これからアップグレード作業を行います。コンデンサーはMundorf EVO Silver GoldOilへ交換し、各コイルと抵抗の良質方向性を確認して、取り付け向きを修正します。まず作業前のフィルター特性を測定して、使用する純正のコイルや抵抗に問題がないか確認します。
This is a photo of the JBL 4425 crossover. This is it's original state, and I will upgrade them. I will change the capacitors to Mundorf EVO SilverGold Oil capacitors, and check each coil and resistor's polarity. I will start by testing it's filter characteristics to make check if any of the original parts we will be using are broken.


こちらは作業が完了した姿です。最後にフィルター特性を測定し、正しく作業を終えたことを確認して、キャビネットへ組み込みます。
I have finished the upgrading process. I will take it's data again to make sure I have done everything correctly and install them into the speaker cabinet.

昨年末から作業をしているExclusive model 2401 twinスタイルスピーカー用のネットワーク作業を紹介します。
Here are some photos of the Exclusive model 2401 twin style speaker crossover that I have been working on since the end of last year.

これからネットワークをチューニングします。ネットワークに使用するパーツの組み合わせを代表の細井が実際に音を聴きながら変更して、理想の音質へと作り上げます。回路が決定したら測定を行い、フィルター特性を記録して、ネットワークの作製を開始します。
The next step is to tune the temporary crossovers. Our president Hosoi will change the combinations of the components listening to the sound simultaneously as he does it. Once the schematic has been decided, I will test and record the filter characteristics and start to build the crossovers.

この写真は使用するHF、UHF用のトランス式アッテネーターです。取付プレート上での配線を終えました。
These are the transformer type attenuators that will be used for the HF and UHF filters. I have finished the wiring on the plate.

こちらは前回のブログでも紹介したJBL4343AWXです。背面のにLFフィルター用のコイルを取り付けましたので、全ての作業が完了しました。以下がこの個体のYouTube動画へのリンクです。
