JBL 4350A カスタムネットワーク作業、JBL D130 コーン紙の加工 JBL 4350A custom crossover work, JBL D130 speaker cone processing
こちらはJBL 4350A用のカスタムネットワークに使用するパーツです。回路が決定しましたので、スピーカーキャビネットへ取り付けるために必要なプレートなどを作製して、パーツの配置を決めます。配置を決定するにあたって実際にどの様に配線するかをこの段階で考える必要があります。
These are the parts I am going to use for the JBL 4350A custom crossovers. The schematic has been decided so I will process the necessary boards to place the components. It is key to build an image of how the parts will be wired when placed inside the cabinet in order to decide the placement of the parts.
パーツの配置が決定し、すべてのパーツを取り付けました。これから配線作業を進めていきます。キャビネット背面にコイルやコンデンサーを取り付けるため、その間の配線は実際にキャビネットに組み込んだ際に行います。各プレート上の配線が完了したら、仮配線で繋ぎ、配線を正しく行ったことを確認をします。
The placement of each component has been decided, and I have glued them on. I will start to wire them now. Since there will be capacitors and coils placed on the back of the speaker cabinet, the wiring between each board will be done during the installment process. Once I am done wiring each board, I will temporary wire them and test it's frequency characteristic to see if the work I have done is correct.

These are the speaker cones for the JBL D130 that I posted in my last blog. It is hard to tell from it's appearance, but another essential process key to it's great sound has been done to them.

組みあがったJBL 4312、その他各ポジション本日の作業紹介 JBL 4312s completed and things each position was working on today
前回のブログで取り上げたJBL 4312が組みあがりました。音質の評価が終わり次第、周波数特性の測定を行います。
The JBL 4312s that I posted in my last blog has been completed. After the sound quality check, I will take it's frequency characteristic data.
こちらは4350A用に使用する背面端子プレートを作製している様子です。シングルアンプ接続が可能なネットワーク設計になっています。これから仮配線で組み上げたネットワークのテストを行いますので、最終的な回路が決定次第、配線を開始します。
This is the rear binding post panel for the JBL 4350As. The crossovers are designed so it can been driven by a single amp. After the crossover tests are over and the final schematics are decided, I will start to wire them.

These are Scan-Speak speakers that had conduction failure being repaired now.

現在作業中：JBL 4312、JBL 2214H、JBL Ti1000 Works in progress : JBL 4312, JBL 2214H, JBL Ti1000
こちらは現在作業中のJBL 4312です。キャビネットの作業はすべて完了して、これから全のスピーカーユニットを取り付けていきます。組みあがり次第、代表の細井による音質チェックが行われます。
This is the JBL 4312 we are working on now. The cabinet work is done, so we will start to install the speaker drivers. Once they are installed, our president Hosoi will check it's sound.
この写真はエッジ交換を行っているJBL 2214Hです。当社オリジナルのクロスエッジを使用します。エッジを交換する際にボイスコイルの再芯出しも行います。
This is a JBL 2214H getting it's surrounds replaced to our original cloth surrounds. We also adjust the voice coil center position when we replace the surrounds.
これは前回のブログで紹介したJBL Ti1000用オリジナルネットワークです。これから純正ツイーター（050Ti）＆ネットワークセットアップと当社オリジナルツイーターKRS Be20Al＆カスタムネットワークセットアップの音質比較を行います。代表がその様子を撮影しますので、YouTube動画を楽しみにお待ちください。
This is the crossover for the JBL Ti1000 that I posted in my last blog post. We will now compare the sounds between the two setups (genuine tweeter [JBL 050Ti ]& crossover and our original tweeter [KRS Be20Al] &custom crossover). 組みあがったJBL 4345, 現在作業中のJBL Ti1000&4350Aネットワークたち JBL 4345 assembled, JBL Ti1000&4350A crossovers being worked on
こちらは組みあがったJBL 4345です。ネットワークおよび全てのスピーカーユニットをインストールしたので、残すは背面に取り付けるウーファー用フィルターコイルの取り付け位置テストです。いつも通り代表細井が自ら音を聴きながらベストポジションを決定します。
These are JBL 4345s that were assembled. We have installed the crossovers and speaker drivers so what is left to do is to test the coil position which will be done by our president Hosoi like always.
この写真は現在カスタマイズ中のJBL Ti1000です。ウーファーはクロスエッジ交換を終え、ツイーターはKRS ベリリウム合金アルニコマグネットツイーターへ換装しました。新たなスピーカーユニットに合わせて設計したオリジナルネットワークを作成している段階です。
We are also working to customize JBL Ti1000s. The woofer's surrounds have been replaced to cloth material, and the tweeter to our KRS beryllium alloy AlNiCo magnet tweeters. We are currently assembling new crossovers for the new combination of drivers.

This is a shot from the JBL 4350A crossover work. I will assemble a testable crossover and Hosoi will test the sound balance of this schematic.

4333B 残念ながらアルニコ間に合わず
レートはドル360円で変動相場制に移ろうとしている頃。
共に過ごした変化の40年
レコードの調達はアキバの黄色（もう店はなし）、お茶の水の黒ビニール
ライブハウス、文化会館・サントリーホール・・・ 良い時間だったと思うところ
やがてオーディオからコンピューターへ
今回買取りをお願いするに至ったのは、娘の一言「これどうするの！」
環境が変化してくると鳴らせなくなってきます。リビングに置いてはいけない。
プリアンプ壊れてからは鳴らすことなく気付くと10年ほど経過して現在
ジャマな置物になっていて挟まれたTVは43インチどまり。
当時パワーアンプは大丈夫でしたが、電源の入れ方悪かった、
一度落として再起動 あ！ いけません！ なぜ落とした！
Peak ランプとdbランプがLR全灯、
今後大きいのは鳴らさないので一緒に持ち込みお引き取りお願いしました。
持ち込み当日、車のドアを開けると「JBLの香り」う〜ん忘れてくれるなと言うことか・・・
（サイズ測って微妙だったので前日積み込んでおいた。）
ショウルームを見せてもらいました。
ここでも香る、音は聴けませんでしたが
皆綺麗なのにレストア前ということ、
皆さん大切にされているのを感じました。

完成したJBL 4301カスタム、JBL 3145ネットワーク、そしてJBL 2213H ギャザードエッジクリーニング＆軟化作業 Custom JBL 4301s and JBL 3145 crossovers completed, JBL 2213 gathered surround's cleaning and softening
最近作業していたJBL 4301カスタムがついに完成しました。以下、施した作業です。

作業中のJBL 3145ネットワーク JBL 3145 crossovers being worked on
こちらの写真は現在作業中のJBL 4345用ネットワーク,JBL 3145の基板です。コンデンサーは交換しますが、抵抗やコイルはそのまま使用します。劣化していて壊れやすいこともありますので、気をつけて取り外す必要があります。すべてのパーツを取り外しましたので、これからクリーニングを行い、新しいパーツを取り付けるための加工を行います。
These are the JBL 3145 crossover circuit boards I have taken apart for the 4345s we are working on now. We are changing them to new capacitors but we will be using the original coils and resistors so it is important to remove them without damaging them. I have disassembled the circuit board, so now I will process them in order to attach the new parts.
これは今回使用するロシアンミリタリースペックのセレクタースイッチです。絶縁体にはステアタイトを使用しております。接点もしっかりしていますので、音楽信号の通りも格段に向上します。
It uses steatite as the insulator and the contacts are firm and stable so the audio signal will flow freely.
この写真は仕事終わりの作業部屋の様子です。ご覧の通り、作業中のスピーカーで溢れています。一つ一つ丁寧に仕上げていきますので、どうぞ楽しみにお待ちください。

完成したJBL 4312A、作業中のJBL4301用ネットワーク、2245Hウーファー JBL 4312A completed, JBL 4301 crossovers and 2245H woofers being worked on
こちらはついに完成した、オールアルニコマグネットのJBL 4312Aカスタムです。最終周波数特性の測定も終えました。以下、施した内容です。
These are custom all AlNiCo magnet JBL 4312As that are finally completed. The final frequency data has been taken also. Below are the work we did on them.

こちらはJBL 4301用ネットワークです。トップグレードのコンデンサーである、Mundorf MCap SUPREME EVO Silver Gold Oil が4個だけで、その価格は40万円以上です。仮測定を終え、コンデンサー、アッテネーター間の配線も終えました。これからキャビネット内部に写真にある部分を組み込みます。LF用フィルターコイルはキャビネット背面に取り付けますので、コイルの取り付け方向のテストを行ってから取り付けます。
This is the crossover for the JBL 4301s. The price for only 4 pieces of top class Mundorf MCap SUPREME EVO Silver Gold Oil is over 3,540 USD. I have tested it's frequency characteristics and have wired the capacitors and the attenuators. I will start to install them into the cabinet. The LF frequency coil will be attached on the rear of the speaker cabinet, and it will be done after we test the best sounding position of the coil.
こちらは作業中のJBL 2245Hです。あと少しで完成です。
This is a JBL 2245H that is almost complete.
