私は幸運にも2016年に米国からオリジナルのJBLパラゴン（シリアルナンバーが揃っているもの）を入手できました。香港に到着するまでに数か月間かかり、再生するまでにさらに1年かかりました。
その年、ケンリックサウンドの細井研志さんには大変助けられました。私はすべてのスピーカーユニットとネットワークを香港から日本に送る手配をしました。各ユニットのマグネット再着磁とウーファーのリコーン他、全てのレストアが完了した新品同様のユニットとネットワークは非常に効率的に戻ってきました。
パラゴンを再度セットアップして鳴らすまでには、さらに18か月かかりました。研志さんからメールでパラゴンを鳴らしている動画を送信するように依頼されました。彼はこの動画から鳴る音だけで、クロスオーバーネットワークの結線極性と電源ケーブルのプラグ極性の良否方向を耳で聴いて判断するためであり、私が適切にベストな結線を行うための演習でした。1ステップずつ段階的に私を案内してくれました。
これによりパラゴンは、これまでにないサウンドで、堅牢でありながらバランスの取れたサウンドで、本物の人間の声や楽器に非常に近いサウンドになっています。研志さんの忍耐強い努力とプロ意識のおかげにより、これは私が今まで所有した中で最高のスピーカーになりました！
I was lucky enough to acquire an original Paragon (with low and matching numbers) from the US in 2016, it took quite a few months for it to arrive in HK and another year for it to be refurbished.
During that year Kenji Hosoi from Kenrick Sound was very helpful. I arranged for all the units to be sent to Japan from HK and they were sent back very efficiently to me re-magnetized and re-coned, together with a brand now set of crossovers, as well as a set of accessories.
It took me another 18 months to set up the Paragon again and then to run it in. After that I sent an email to Kenji who asked me to send him some videos, which I did. After that, he took me through, step by step, in an exercise to rewire the crossovers and the power cables to my power amps.
The Paragon is now sounding as never before, with robust yet balanced sound, very close to the real human voice and to real musical instruments. This is best speaker I have ever owned, thanks to Kenji's patient efforts and professionalism!
