ケンリックサウンドにてKRS 4315C-WX (JBL 4315) カスタムコンパクト4wayアルニコモニターと専用ウォールナットスタンドを購入された香港のダンカン様より到着の一報を頂きました。ダンカン様には4年前にお手持ちの4310を香港から送って頂き、スペシャルカスタム後に再び返送させて頂きました。その音が最高に良かったとのことで、今回は是非KRS 4315Cを！となり、また導入して頂くことになりました。
今回の4315Cは、完全にサイズを超えたスケール感の音に驚かれたとのことです。

Dear Kenji San,
The Kenrick Sound KRS 4315C is my sound pair of JBL speaker ordered from Kenji San, my first pair is the smaller JBL4310 bought about 4 years ago and which has been fully refurbished by Kenji San also. It has been proved a smashing success in my living room based on tube amplification using a Shindo preamp and a completely re-wired Western Electric KS16608, tubes have been changed to 2 x 6SN7, 1 x WE274A, 2 x WE350B and transformers have also been changed to WE367A and WE171C.
My first impression of the KRS 4315C, it has a much larger soundstage than I have expected. The images within the soundstage is bold, solid and very silky high frequency which I think is due to the stainless steel bullet horn made by Kenrick Sound. The soundstage tends to project images not only in front of the speakers, also backwards and sidewards into the wall behind them which is so relaxed and musically satisfying. Brass instruments and male vocals are exceptionally attractive making all kind of jazz music a delight. Violin solos and mass strings can be played with ease without a hint of harsh or brightness which I have never experienced with other JBL speakers before.
Cosmetically, the two speaker boxes are well furnished without a trace of age, I would say it's a world class craftsmanship, thank you again, Kenji San.
